Comic Sans are here to shake things up and never stop being themselves 🎵 🎸

A Lincoln four-piece is channelling the energy of non-conformity – challenging societal norms and doing it with not just attitude, but a smile on their face.Taking inspiration from bold female artists such as Lady Gaga, Kathleen Hanna and Amyl and the Sniffers, Comic Sans wear the queer punk label like a badge of honour – channelling the attitudes of punk music while also being unapologetically themselves at all times.

The name – derived from a Microsoft Word font that became the butt of an internet joke due to its overuse and its playfulness in the face of professional situations – was one they stumbled on during a brainstorming session. Their most recent single, last year’s Talk Show Host, is a thrillride listen that wonderfully encapsulates the negative emotions that can harbour in relationships that often feel like a one-way street.
