. During the scene where the narrator is showing all the different Barbies and there is one in a wheelchair, she pointed at the screen and went, 'There’s me!' and laughed. Then, during the disco, when the Barbie in the wheelchair was front and center dancing with the other Barbies, she grabbed my arm and just had the biggest smile on her face and tears in her eyes.
word she said resonated with every cell in my being, and many others in the theater. We were clapping, amen-ing, and cheering!!! Trying to do and be everything for everyone, being chastised for not doing well enough, or doing too well, while being pretty enough, but not too pretty because their fragile ego can't handle others talking to you, being strong enough to take care of everyone, but not too strong to emasculate them...
