Twink told the Irish Sunday Mirror: "She called me Ma. She sat at my kitchen years ago, when she only had Jakey.Recalling her shock when her cousin rang her to tell her Sinead was dead she said: "My heart nearly stopped. We are heartbroken. I loved her."In the little corner of my kitchen in the house I loved, we converted it into a cubby area, it was like a little snug."She enjoyed it when I was cooking for the girls.

Twink dismissed rumours that Sinead had paid off her mortgage, but she added: "She was very close and kind. "She did want to send the whole family on holidays, I told her to get a grip on herself that we could send ourselves." She added: "She always wanted to thank people, she’d bring up flowers and wine. She’d give her money to the dog on the street with one leg. She’d give money to everyone but herself.
