“We are closing in on the end of our process of the recast,” said Levy. “It’s gonna be great. I am thoroughly impressed with everything that’s going on, including all the work on season seven.” While Levy didn’t confirm who they had been looking at to replace Roiland, a fan did ask whether or not the new voices would be similar to Roiland’s, or completely different. Levy confirmed that they would be “soundalikes,” and that Rick and Morty would be the same exact characters as they were.In 2018, Adult Swim ordered 70 more episodes of Rick and Morty, guaranteeing it would run through at least Season 10 of the series.
