Great show, laughed out loud with the family every week for 3-4 years.
You completely fail to mention the sitcom that normalized gay marriage: Friends.
Modern Family was groundbreaking and funny but ran too long. They never recalubrated the shows formula and it became stale. It should have been cancelled a few years ago.
I disagree with the first part of this head line. The writing has gotten much sharper and wittier as the seasons progressed. The kids have all become pretty good actors and the seasoned pros are soaring. I will be sad when it ends.
Who watches TV shows anymore? Nothing of substance, an insult to intelligence!

The storyline isn’t that bad but I’m truly annoyed by Gloria’s voice, I swear can’t stand hearing her talk for even few minutes. —- It’s very irritating. Why didn’t anyone figured that out? It’s not appealing. It’s turns you off.

When I think of changing T.V.I dont think of Modern Family in that group.Blackish, Fresh off the Boat, Empire and Goldbergs more for thought than Modern Family.Writers didnt tackle issues that were available to them.
