lover or just one to appreciate, this weekend you could get your hands on an Archibald Prize winner's piece for $100 - with a catch.

From Archibald Prize winners to amateur artists and even high school students - the options are endless."Artists range from amateurs, kids, people who have never painted before and are just getting into it, to this year's Archibald Prize winner Julia Gutman, she has three artworks in, Reg Mombassa, Laura Jones, Abdul Abdullah," co-founder Dave Liston said.

"Taking the name away and the price away from the artwork, they're all $100 and even, it liberates a buyer to go out there and buy exactly what they love and what they like," he said.He said there are 2000 artists involved in the auction and all of the artwork is beautiful regardless of the profile of the artists. The concept is to buy something that speaks to the buyer, regardless of the name behind it.
