The movie is based off a 2018 Comedy Central skit of the same name and follows a group of friends staying together in a cabin in the woods who become the target of a killer. “I loved that she had so much more fun than Coco,” Robertson says of the character. “[With Lisa], even though she’s intense and she’s intelligent and she’s all of these things, she could still let loose and have a good time and not have her guard up as much. The arc that they gave me, it was truly a gift. I got to be terrified and vulnerable and frantic. Then also live in the moment and find my courage and my bravery to defend the people that I love the most.

“I’d never felt that kind of a thrill before,” she says. “And I was like, ‘Oh my god, I really want to do this with my life.’”
