More than 3,000 people were in attendance for the planned fireworks show earlier this month in Batavia when the fireworks vendor Pyrotecnico’s computer failed.
In a letter to the fireworks committee, Pyrotecnico officials apologized for the glitch that caused both the primary and secondary computer panels to fail. Pyrotecnico also offered to help support the cost of other services needed to hold the rescheduled event, like portable restrooms and audio equipment.
