The series, which was filmed in more than 180 locations throughout Alberta, picked up nominations in a number of major categories. It was nominated for outstanding drama series, outstanding writing for a series and acting nods for Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Murray Bartlett, Nick Offerman, Lamar Johnson, Keivonn Montreal Woodard, Melanie Lynskey, Storm Reid and Anna Torv.
But it also netted a number of nominations in technical categories, which included recognition for locals.
