RTE viewers give their verdict on whether Ryan Tubridy should return to work

The television presenter and his agent Noel Kelly were questioned by members of the Oireachtas yesterday following the recent RTE pay scandal.

One person said: “Good strong performance by @_RyanTubridy and I believe him. Jeepers we all make mistakes. Back to work Monday in a new reformed RTE.” A third viewer shared: “I don’t get it. I heard almost the entire grilling and I thought he sounded credible. I’m no Ryan Tubridy fanatic but I believe losing him would be a loss.”

A second viewer shared: “The jury is still out as to whether #Tubridy can return to @rte after yesterday's performance. Staff could work with him but it will be awkward. Some feel that there is a question mark over his credibility & may not be welcome back.”
