The 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' actor was back in Jersey Monday

Danny DeVito attends the Disney 2022 Upfront presentation at Basketball City Pier 36 on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in New York. Actor Danny DeVito visited his old Monmouth County stomping grounds Monday.

DeVito, 78, was in town to donate $500,000 to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, the hospital where he was born in back in 1944, when it was known as Fitkin Memorial Hospital, as Jessica Barberia of Belmar was on her daily run when she noticed DeVito walking out of Jersey Mike’s in Belmar — DeVito is now the face of Jersey Mike’s, appearing in several commercials.Barberia told NJ Advance Media she approached the actor and greeted him with a nervous hello. Devito then followed with a handshake and asked if she wanted a picture.
