Hill, 39, an actor who might still be best known for his role in 2007’s gross-out comedy “Superbad,” has been called out for “emotionally abusive” treatment by his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Brady, 25, a professional surfer whom he dated for about a year starting in 2021.
In the texts, Hill says that if Brady “needs” any of those things, he’s “not the right partner” for her. “If these things bring you to a place of happiness, I support it and there are no hard feelings. These are my boundaries for romantic partnership,” Hill writes. “My boundaries with you are based on the ways these actions have hurt our trust.”
“I didn’t want [Millar] to have to see all of this while she was pregnant because I didn’t know what kind of stress that would cause her and her baby physically,” Brady says in a voice note on her Stories. She’s sharing it all now, she says, in the hope that Millar will see her posts, so she can “make an informed decision of how she wants to care for herself and her baby.”, or the celebrity-adjacent, airing dirty laundry is always going to attract attention.
Brady positioned her choice to share the private texts as a lesson in recognizing red flags. And the practice of spotting these worrying or “toxic” traits in a partner is a TikTok genre unto itself, filled with equal parts memes and hard-earned wisdom.
