Escape to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge have seen a huge increase in their showbiz careers over the last year despite the long-running reality show being axed from screens as it has been revealed they've made a whopping £670,000.

It comes less than a year after it was confirmed that Escape to the Chateau was axed after its ninth season and wouldn't be returning to screens for a 10th running following claims of undisclosed conduct concerns. Out of the celebrity couples' three businesses, it was their TShirt Patisserie Limited that saw the biggest spike in value increase in the past year, more than doubling from £270,000 to £688,000.

Their departure from the show was reportedly driven by conflict behind-the-scenes, which included clashes with producers and rumours of verbal abuse which was highlighted in a leaked audio recording of Angel calling a member of crew "a f***ed up little c**t."
