Uncut Gems director and actor Benny Safdie has called Oppenheimer the best movie of Christopher Nolan's career.

Nolan’s next movie is a historical thriller about J. Robert Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project, which produced the world’s first nuclear weapons. This film stars Cillian Murphy as the titular character with a star-studded supporting cast that includes Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., and Rami Malek.

Benny Safdie, co-director of Uncut Gems and Good Time, appears in the movie as theoretical physicist Edward Teller. In a recent Instagram post, he shared an image from the movie and said, “I got to see the movie recently, and I can tell you with certainty: This is Chris’ best movie by far. It’s got everything firing on all cylinders.”
