A Hawaiian Dick Movie Sounds Interesting But Unlikely Created by writer B. Clay Moore and artist Steven Griffin, Hawaiian Dick was first published by Image Comics in 2002. Set in the 1950s, the story centers on a private investigator named Byrd who operates in the sunny and exotic locale of Honolulu while also incorporating elements of detective noir and supernatural mystery with a unique Hawaiian twist.
