This Morning fans have signalled that they are growing sick of the revolving door of presenters helping Holly Willoughby co-host the show - and have singled out a favourite they want to feature full time.
As a consequence, 42-year-old Holly has been helming the show with a changing line-up of co-hosts - including Dermot O’Leary and Josie Gibson.However, it is charming 52-year-old Irish presenter Craig Doyle who has attracted the strongest - and most unhinged - support. One fan warned: "tbh I'll probably stop watching if they lose Craig" - with another tweeting: "@thismorning me and my mother will boycott this morning if craig Doyle doesn’t get the job. Easy on the eyes. #ThisMorning."
It is still unclear when ITV will make a decision as to the permanent co-host of the show - with some speculating the full-time replacement won’t begin until after the summer recess. They added: “In the meantime, we will draw on the This Morning family for presenters to co-present with Holly.”
