With age, I have learnt that being masc-presenting is more nuanced than just the clothes I wear or the hairstyle I have. Most of it is quite internal. Having had examples of masculinity mainly from men, I picked up both good and toxic examples of masculinity. But either way, they weren’t in line with my gender identity.
