Thrush is currently the artistic director of Making Treaty 7 Culture Society and a busy film, television and theatre actress. Her most recent credit is the film Bones of Crows, filmmaker Marie Clements’ drama about residential schools, and Crave’s Little Bird. She has also starred in Blackstone, a role that won her three Alberta Film and Television Awards and a Canadian Screen Award nomination; Northern Exposure and North of 60.
