Malta The Spanish Inquisition trial scene, which shows up midway through the Assassin's Creed movie, features breathtaking views of Fort Manoel from Valletta, Malta. Owing to its picturesque landscape and ancient aesthetic, Fort Manoel has previously been the filming location for the Game of Thrones scene where Ned Stark gets executed. Apart from Fort Manoel, Assassin's Creed also features stills shot in other parts of Valletta, Malta.
Spain Assassin's Creed's cast and crew were first spotted in Spain in December 2015, with one of their primary filming locations being the Castillo de La Calahorra, located in Spain's Granada province. The Granada castle appears in the scene where Aguilar de Nerha finally gets to join the Assassin Brotherhood.
