Jennifer Lawrence's new R-rated comedy movie No Hard Feelings scores the star her third Fresh Rotten Tomatoes score in nearly a decade.

No Hard Feelings has become one of just a few Jennifer Lawrence movies to earn a Fresh rating in recent years. The movie is a raunchy comedy that stars the actor as Maddie, a down-on-her-luck young woman who agrees to take money from the parents of a socially awkward 19-year-old to pretend to date him. The ensemble cast of the comedy also includes Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, and Matthew Broderick.

Rotten Tomatoes has now unveiled the official score for the R-rated No Hard Feelings. With 103 reviews, the movie is now officially rated Fresh with a 67 percent score. This makes it only the third movie starring Lawrence to get a Fresh rating since shortly after the Hunger Games franchise ended in 2015. The other two titles were 2017's mother! and 2022's Causeway .

No Hard Feelings is Lawrence's second Fresh rating in as many years after a string of movies that were either lukewarm or outright flops. Some, like Adam McKay's Don't Look Up and the sci-fi drama Passengers scored solid viewership numbers despite low critical ratings. However, others including X-Men: Dark Phoenix were disappointments both critically and commercially.

This downturn is especially jarring considering the fact that Lawrence began her career with a string of Fresh movies. Of the 16 movies she made between the beginning of her career and the release of Joy in December 2015, 13 nabbed Fresh ratings. However, the No Hard Feelings release could be an indication that better things are to come for the star.

Lawrence's post-No Hard Feelings projects are largely not comedic. They include the Hollywood agent biopic Sue and the Lynne Ramsay psychological thriller Die, My Love. However, they could very well go the way of the Oscar-nominated drama Causeway and help rehabilitate her standing on Rotten Tomatoes alongside this new comedy.
