As much as I don't like Trudeau, it's not this government that's cooling the mortgage market. It's the fact that having a humugous mortgage for a square foot of space seems like a terrible deal. I won't be jumping onto the property ladd, anytime soon!
Duh when you raise the interest rate not based in general inflation in goods and services, but rises in taxes and carbon taxes, this kind of thing happens - a crushing recession- who is honestly surprised by this? Who?
