Gino D'Acampo cheekily 'confirmed' he has a new role on This Morning after making Holly Willoughby and Dermot O'Leary squirm during his return to the show. It has been weeks since the Italian chef spent some time in the kitchen on the ITV daytime show.
Dermot sat with a pen in his mouth looking slightly uncomfortable while Holly laughed while sat beside him on the famous sofa. "No news," Holly said smiling, as Gino replied: "No news, OK, good. so we can go straight into the cooking..." Later, after Gino showed off his tiramisu in the kitchen, the show returned from an ad break and Gino found himself in a different spot as he had taken Dermot's place behind the presenters' desk alongside Holly.
Gino continued his link and said: "We are not the only ones enjoying this weather, the high temperature have led to a boom in mosquitoes in the UK. Your turn." Holly told him: "It's still you!" Gino said: "It's still me? Gino then replied: "He was taking the mick." They then tried to link up to the neighbouring Loose Women to hear the teaser for their show, as Ruth Langsford said: "Holly, have they been drinking? Do you need us to come and rescue you?"
