The Hindi-language feature will be released on Netflix later this year.

The film, which is being directed by Zoya Akhtar, is described as “a musical experience bursting with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves and everything young adult, it still promises to have something for every generation".

The cast for the film comprises Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Yuvraj Menda, Agastya Nanda and Vedang Raina, who will all “perfectly match the youthful energy, hope and excitement of the sixties era.”, with KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Casey Cott making up the band as Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica and Kevin respectively.
