Coronation Street star James Craven has officially confirmed his permanent exit from the soap following an emotional storyline that saw his character Aaron Sandiford finally leave the cobbles during Friday night’s episode.
Following the harrowing scenes, Amy turned to alcohol to numb her pain, before dropping her allegations against Aaron when she realised it would cost Tracy and Steve their business to pay for the legal fees. James also revealed that he never wanted Aaron to get away with what he did, but knew his character would have to live with knowing what he did.
