Oupa Bopape/Gallo ImagesSouth Africa’s fan-favourite turned blacklisted actress and newsreader Vatiswa Ndara launched her new tell-all book, titled Unfiltered: My Unglamorous Odyssey in the World of SA Entertainment, on Tuesday evening via a Zoom meeting attended by about 30 people, including her friends and family.

People had platforms and places to say that, but I was never given a platform to tell my story, and I got a sense that I would never get it. The incident that happened in 2021 pushed me to say, it is time.
