No it isn’t ... the taxes that corporations and the rich pay are too low. Change that and no need to change pension age. And go back to the banks and corps and take back all the tax payers wealth that was taken from them to pay for bail outs

Bureaucratic bull. The people who think this have 4 or more weeks of holidays, paid; drug plans; expense accounts; flexible hours; no shift work; no heavy lifting. Ask the retail and restaurant workers, the cops, construction and factory workers.

Part of his grandstanding, also reversed a law that required financial transparency for unions and First Nations; In Trudeau, we’ve seen a leader focused on image, ideology and theatrics.

No, it’s not too low!

Hey, hands off! “Global trends” be damned. This 62 year old cant wait to be paid for being old🤨

Nice for the Liberals to buck the trend and show the world leadership. It's past time to globally reverse the destructive selfish policies of right wing governments.

Weird how our politicians continue to pad their retirement/pension pots, yet the average worker will have to work longer and longer, it’s almost like playing a game you can’t win.

Hey , this article is trash. Since when has it been “progressive” to screw over working people?

Well, if you use your eyes and brain, you'd see no one can afford to retire .. Common sense tells you...Thus is a Government created problem ..

Is there a reason why you resurrected this article from February, 2019 other than for click bait for the Conservative base? MediaFail cdnpoli

It’s not too low. We pay lots of taxes so it’s right where it should be.

in Iran is 55 in Canada is 99 is low what about all this lazy Canadian not even 40 years around smoking hash and drugs ?

Seriously. If some people had their way we would all be working until we are 80.

'Canadians could thus expect six or seven years of public pension benefits before moving on to their greater reward. ' Being...Dead?

Sez the Fraser Propaganda Institute.

Don't worry JustinTrudeau, us millennials know we'll never get to retire because boomers stayed in the workforce so long we couldn't earn a living wage until 35-40. That combined with increased demand and cost for education and higher cost of living means working unit we die.
