Holly Willoughby admits she was 'shaken and let down' by Phillip on This Morning

A tearful Holly Willoughby has admitted she was 'shaken, troubled and let down' by Phillip Schofield in an emotional statement on This Morning.

After taking an extended absence following 61 year old Phillip's departure, Holly, 42, was back on the show sofa on Monday, June 5, where she has directly addressed the furore surrounding Phillip. "We gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth,” referring to Phillip's lies about his affair on the show.

"She was naturally apprehensive about getting back after her extended break," an insider told The Mirror. It doesn't look like Phillip Schofield will be watching Holly's return to the This Morning sofa as it will be "too triggering". Across the picture uploaded, the words read: "This Full 'Strawberry' Moon in Sagittarius brings with it a zest for life.
