THINK I had never heard the story in its entirety, so to learn what happened is to be that much more aware, not only for me, but as a generation that didn’t live through it. It’s important to know where you’ve been to know where you’re going.

THINK Part about humanizing him. Mbe it's because i work in psych but i saw that as showing the 'face' that everyone saw & trusted & contrasting it with his words. We should all be aware of sociopaths. Not all of them kill but they'll easily rip your life to shreds if it suits them.

THINK It's history, it's horrible history, but it's in documentary format, not a sitcom or something. We could as easily say the same of Jack the Ripper or the Titanic movie (which was kinda terrible) - it's just more recent. Maybe i don't feel it as much because I wasnt alive yet.
