Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has narrated how he survived in police custody, stating it was difficult on the first day.   He corrected the impression that he was imprisoned, noting he was rather locked up in a police cell jam-packed with inmates ten times its original capacity.   Speaking of the heat and stench of the cell, the last son of legendary Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulakpo Kuti, stated it was awful.   However, he explained after spending two days, he acclimatized to the environment while he gave a brief ‘hearsay’ account of what entailed in Kirikiri maximum prison.   “Prison, the first day was difficult in prison.
