Although Randolph always has been
aware of her gifts as a storyteller and problem-solver, it wasn’t until 2016 when she was creating a vision board and mission statement for the new year that she crystalized her life purpose. “Tell stories and build businesses that empower, educate and entertain.” She views her career as a river rather than a ladder, with diverse experiences from providing marketing services to aerospace and defense companies, to leading fundraising for a film festival. “Like a river, I picked up and deposited different gems in each place,” Randolph explains. “I’ve navigated obstacles and experienced fast and slow periods, but ultimately those experiences led me to where I needed to be.
These days, Randolph feels that the most fulfilling aspect of what she and Hartbeat are doing is providing a tangible benefit to other humans. “The physical, emotional, and social benefits of laughter are scientifically proven. To think that the content we create and the experiences we produce can provide some measure of happiness, joy, or relief for another person is a strong motivator,” she says.
