Kay looked worlds away from his BBC Car Share days in a recent video taken backstage at his gig by singer Bryan Edery.

The comedian, 49, made a triumphant return to the spotlight after a 12 year hiatus due to "unforeseen family circumstances".

He added: "Go and see Peter’s show, it’s incredible. Secondly, thank you friends, you know who you are #peterkaytour." The comic addressed his weight loss during his tour, as he twirled on stage for audiences and joked: "See how much weight Peter Kay has lost." This comes after Kay reunited with Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle earlier this year, over 12 years since the pair first worked together.
