Exclusive: Peli Motto actor Amy Sedaris weighs in on her divisive TheMandalorian character's StarWars future and the thrills of starring in the show:

Following her recent return in season 3, Amy Sedaris is sharing her thoughts on Peli Motto's The Mandalorian future. Sedaris made her debut in the Star Wars series with season 1's "The Gunslinger", seen running a ship repair facility in Mos Eisley on Tatooine and fixing up the Razor Crest while Pedro Pascal's Mando sought to collect the bounty on Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT While speaking exclusively with Screen Rant to discuss her new Hillshire Farm campaign, Amy Sedaris was asked about her Star Wars future as The Mandalorian's Peli Motto. Though not directly teasing any future plans for the character, she did express her love of working on the series and how she feels the Tatooine mechanic could return.

It's a lot of fun, that show, I'll tell you, I really love working on it. There's something I like about Peli not changing. In Boba Fett, she did leave her her garage, and you saw her in the outside world, that was kind of thrilling. But I also like people that don't leave their environments, I kind of like that things don't change sometimes, that the action has to come to her, and Mando needs his craft fixed, or whatever.

Why Peli Motto Is So Divisive Upon her initial debut in The Mandalorian, Peli Motto became a fan-favorite supporting player for the Star Wars series, with Sedaris herself even becoming a trending topic on Twitter after her arrival in the show.

Though The Mandalorian season 3 continued the show's positive review streak, it did feature more divisive elements outside of Peli Motto, namely Jack Black and Lizzo's cameos in episode 6. However, with Sedaris' character only appearing in episode 2 and both a season 4 and Mandalorian movie all in the works, one can hope Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau listen to audience feedback and find a way to bring Peli back to what audiences loved about her in her early Star Wars days.
