Former This Morning star Dr Ranj Singh has spoken out about a "toxic" culture on the set of the ITV show.
The resident doctor, who's real name is Ranjit Singh, had worked on the show alongside Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby since 2016. Taking to social media, the doctor, who now works for the BBC, said: "I was on the show for 10 years and I genuinely loved and valued working there. However, over time I grew increasingly worried about how things were behind-the-scenes and how people, including myself, were being treated.
"I didn't know the truth about what was going on with Phillip, but I do know the issues with TM go far beyond him.He claims he raised his concerns and "I then found myself being used less and less.""I was assured that certain things were going to be addressed and changes made. I haven't worked on the show since."He continued: "There are some good people in TV, but we need to be brave and stand up to those who aren't.
ITV confirmed Dr Ranj put in a complaint about bullying before he left, with a spokesperson saying: “Following a complaint made by Dr Ranj, we appointed someone to carry out an external review and the review found no evidence to support the complaint of bullying.”Check out all the latest hot topics on OK! magazine’s news section and discover exclusive celebrity news about your favourite soap actors and reality stars.
