With a successful season hosting Dancing With The Stars, hit 2fm breakfast show, starting work on her first home, and a new relationship to boot, Doireann really balances it all.Having hosted last year, Doireann is a pro by now, and looking forward to tonight’s show at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.
But the bright mornings aren’t the only perks of the jobs as her close friends with her co-host also help.“It’s going great, it’s all good fun, and few holidays booked in for the summer. So everything’s great.”But outside of work Doireann is still the talk of the town, thanks to her new romance with comedian Mark Mehigan. Since the pair announced their relationship in January, they have developed a loyal following of fans, all rooting for the couple.
“People were really loving and supportive on social media saying, ‘make sure you bring us along on the journey on social media.’ So I’ve shared this and that, but to be honest, there hasn’t been a whole lot to share, the work only started about two weeks ago. Now that I’m getting into it, I’m in the thick of it, I realise there’s delays, and there’s decisions to be made one day, and no decisions to be made for another four weeks, or you know, that kind of thing.
