Dating rumors were raised after the photos were leaked, but YG Entertainment and HYBE did not release any statement on their position about the dating rumors.
Because of the silence, there was a voice of criticism towards the agencies for not protecting the privacy of their artists. After the crticism, YG Entertainment stated they would take legal action against malicious commenters by saying, “ To prevent additional harm, we have refrained from commenting and expressing our stance. However, the recent onslaught of rumors, criticism, personal attacks, sexual harassment, and invasion of privacy triggered by personal photos has become intolerable.
