Coronation Street fans have been left furious after an update about former Weatherfield resident Michelle Connor.
She previously ran the restaurant with her late fiancée Robert Preston, who was shot dead by Derek Milligan at Christmas in 2019. As Ryan has recovered from his acid attack he contracted Sepsis and is now back in hospital with aunt Carla Barlow by his side. The small mention of Ryan's mum got Corrie fans talking, but they weren't happy that Michelle is not returning to support her son.
The acid was thrown by Justin Rutherford who had been stalking Daisy for months in a final attempt to stop her marrying Daniel Osbourne. Away from his burns Ryan has struggled as his former girlfriend Alya Nazir told him that she just wanted to be friends and nothing more.
