According to Ramsay, the burnt sugar steamed pudding dessert “was a staple coming out of New Zealand”. In a follow-up video on TikTok, Khairul recorded his reactions to Ramsay's TikTok video and admitted he was initially worried Ramsay might mock his cooking skills. Photo: TIKTOK Ramsay also teased Khairul’s use of a “tiny spoon” in the video, joking that he needed to get him a new spoon for Christmas. Eagle-eyed Ramsay also spotted “the few lumps” in the dough.

Ramsay ended the video by saying, “I will be in Malaysia next week. I will show you again. Well done!”
