Mayim Bialik will not host Jeopardy! in solidarity with writer strike: Report

Bialik will reportedly not host during the final week, according to Deadline. Her co-host, Ken Jennings, is still slated to host. The pair have been at the trivia show since 2020. Mike Richards was also temporarily a co-host alongside Bialik.WGA has 11,500 unionized screenwriters, per the Associated Press, and opted to strike during the first week in May.

Bialik appeared on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on Wednesday. WGA writers began their strike on May 2, which was its first in 15 years. The first post-strike negotiations between the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and the Directors Guild of America began Wednesday.
