While Parton was speaking, lines were forming outside of people wanting to visit the pop-up. Inside there are t-shirts and bags for sale, even Dolly Duncan Hines fudge brownie mix and icing. Other items include the book, “Dolly Parton Behind The Seams: My Life In Rhinestones” from Penguin Random House. There’s also a collection of fragrances- the Dolly: Scent From Aboveportfolio of fragrances by Scent Beauty. At the pop-up there’s a debut of a new commercial running in-store and fragrance testing opportunities. And, to not leave pets out there’s thedog clothes, toys and accessories by SportPet. There are other items and interactive activations as well, along with a live DJ.
When asked if she wears sweatpants, Parton joked, “not too often, even at home. But I do have my slouchy stuff. We all have our comfort zones and I do too. I call them my baby clothes. I do turn down to be comfortable so that I can be myself. But yeah, I still wear high heels because I can’t reach my cabinets without em’,” she laughed with her infections laugh.... Tuesday, May 9: 3pm-10pm CT, Wednesday, May 10: 3pm-10pm CT, Thursday, May 11: 3pm-10pm CT, Friday, May 12: 12pm-8pm CT, Saturday, May 13: 12pm-8pm CT, and Sunday, May 14: 12pm-6pm CT.
