The fatal shooting of a man in an eastern Bexar County home last year stemmed from two botched attempts to steal marijuana, court records show.

Seth Ronterio Little, 20, was charged with capital murder Friday in the May 2022 shooting death of Corwin Davis.

A witness told investigators that several men dressed in black and wearing ski masks entered the home and began threatening Davis, an affidavit supporting the arrests said. Police said that DeAnthony “Breezy” Clay, described as an associate of Jason and Little, told investigators that he and the suspects were part of a group that robbed “bad people of money and drugs,” the affidavit said. Clay also told investigators that he was the brains behind the robbery crew and would strategically plan their thefts so as to ensure that people were not in the homes and that no one got hurt.

Some time before Davis’ death, Clay, Jason, Little and two others went to Davis’ house to conduct the robbery, but they aborted their plan after hearing a noise inside. On May 3, 2022, Little, Jason and a man nicknamed “Flex” went to Davis’ home to try again, the affidavit said.Police seek black pickup in drive-by shooting on Future Drive; slain 2-year-old girl identified
