Bob Huggins said what he said on the radio Monday. This isn’t complicated. What happens next? That’s up to West Virginia University, DanaONeilWriter writes.

This is, without question, difficult. Huggins is the face of the institution, a beloved character who has put his home state and his alma mater on his shoulders and carried it to national relevance via its men’s basketball team. He is more the school’s mascot than the musket-shooting Mountaineer. Part of his charm up until this point was always his willingness to speak his unedited mind, and unapologetically mince neither words nor punishment with his players.

Similarly, you can’t speak the way you used to. The hurtful, derogatory words used a few generations ago, somehow deemed acceptable at the time, have finally been exposed for the disgusting, offensive verbiage they are.
