At the age of 85, Jane Fonda shows no signs of slowing down, embarking on the most exciting and entertaining movie comeback of her career.

2023 is shaping up to be the most exciting year in Jane Fonda's career, with a line-up of anticipated comeback movies ahead. Although Fonda has remained active in film and television over recent years, never before has Fonda had so many releases in the same year in which she boasts prominent roles. It’s not just the number of films being released in 2023 that make it an exciting comeback year for the star, it’s the tone of the films too.

The movie will be a coming-of-age fantasy action-comedy story, which sees sixteen-year-old Kraken girl Ruby Gillman learn that she is next in the line of legendary sea krakens. Fonda will play the Warrior Queen of the Seven Seas, Ruby's grandmother who ascends Ruby to her throne.
