By comparison, I think it’s safe to say British men are slightly different. Repressed. Guarded. Cynical. Terrified of intimacy. British men show their enthusiasm for their own sports teams by angrily insulting and belittling them from the sidelines. So imagine you’re a slightly insecure British man and then you meet, I don’t know, some nice friendly American girl named, say Taylor. She is cheerleader who appears in your life and gives you pep talks about how amazing and awesome you are without a hint of sarcasm! She saw your dimples first, and then she heard your accent!
