It all comes to a head tonight

The Irish actor, who plays Eric 'Viking' Kinsella on the RTE gangland drama has said that it's his and the show's creators jobs as artists to be honest about the realities of grim gangland life in Dublin.

"Chaos!" going on to add, "I think what's interesting is we've seen this villain enter the family and that ultimately- ironically- becomes the thing that makes everybody re-evaluate and assess and come together. The Tullamore native went on to give a glimpse of what might be in store for his own character of Viking at the end of season two and into the third season."At the end of the second season you see him at a place where there are a lot of big choices made for him and he makes a lot of big choices about how he wants to be going forward.

Last weeks penultimate episode of the show saw Vikings long term girlfriend Nikita Farrell call things off, but describing them as the Bonnie and Clyde of the series, Sam is hopeful the pair might reconcile in the future.
