Coronation celebrations in Nottingham

Martin and Angela Crotty of Carlton, pictured at Nottingham Castle during a live screening of the King's Coronation.Whilst the coronation took place miles away at Westminster Abbey, in London, people in Nottingham took part in huge celebrations. Hundreds gathered atQueues formed at the castle from 10am for the sold out screening. People laid down picnic blankets and set up camping chairs as they watched the monumental event.

Elsewhere in Nottinghamshire, people joined together to celebrate with street parties and special viewings of the ceremony. Many also gathered at Titchfield Park, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III.
