The NHS has been using Occupational therapy (meaningful occupation to improve health) since it’s inception. More specific OT roles in primary care and public health alongside IAPT would no doubt promote the idea that preventative interventions are better than acute interventions

Knows how to waste money NHS. If you go for treatment in NHS, beware they make mistakes , so always get second opinion. Would not trust them NHS, people do not hear about the numerous cock-up. It is getting worse,if you have money go private.
