How about instead of pill testing and dozens of ambos that could be used for real emergencies, how about sniffer dogs at the gates of these festivals to catch these losers from bringing their drugs into festivals. Arrest the morons instead of wasting precocious resources

If only their pills were tested...

If they are old enough to vote then they’re old enough not to be nannied. Leave them to their own follies. Ambos and all medics have much more important things to do than waste time saving the unsavable idiots.

Give them more.

Fools and their folly are inseparable! And they’re supposed to be adults? DarwinAwards contestants.

Pill testing gets introduced. People continue to cook themselves to death. Government is forced to take more action. Insurance policies for festival promoters are increased. People continue to cook their brains. Government forced to ban all live festivals. Well done pinger heads

Darwinism at work, some people are not meant to make it. Sounds harsh, but if you don’t know the risk by now, no amount of testing is going to help you.

Serves them right for being selfish(family have to pic up the pieces). You want to take illicit drugs then so be it, face the consequences.

Nothing will change stupidity it will never STOP How can people be so naive They are not children Will take the drug before they go into the festival Stop the pushers BRING IN THE DRUG DOGS JAIL THEM STOP judges LETTING THEM OFF WITH A SLAP ON THE WRIST LiberalNSW NSWLabor

Half these kids are drunk or worse before they get into the festival. Ever tried having a rational “legally binding” conversation with a drunk? Nope didn’t think so, neither have I. If you think pill testing would’ve helped your part of the problem!

Any figures on people who died in the same period from prescribed opioids? Maybe a comment from drkerrynphelps ?

I reckon a lot this would stop if these people were charged in full for their medical expenses.......

Two men critical after Sydney music festivalTwo men are fighting for their lives and several others have been hospitalised from two Sydney music festivals, with six out of eight cases related to drugs. Do these people, who indulge into reckless self-harm, understand that someone must clean up this mess after them? The toll they exact on police officers and health care staff? Taking Hardcore Til I Die literally? Oh the irony that the name of the festival is 'Hardcore til I Die'
