Ed Sheeran celebrated his victory but added he's 'unbelievably frustrated that baseless claims like this are allowed to go to court at all.' 'No one owns [these chords] or the way they are played, in the same way nobody owns the color blue.'

, Townsend estate lawyer Ben Crump was questioned about “smoking gun” evidence: Concert footage where Sheeran merged the two songs during a show; earlier that day, Crump described the mashup as a “confession.”
