Berea City Club’s annual kickoff-to-summer fest, which dates to 1999, will be Friday, May 26 to Monday, May 29.
The rain-or-shine fest includes 12 teams from across the country competing for best ribs, best sauce and people’s choice. Yuengling, The Brew Kettle of Middleburg Heights, Leinenkugel’s and Collision Bend Brewing Co. of Cleveland will offer suds.Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, 164 Eastland Road, Berea.Free noon to 5 p.m. Friday; $10 after 5 p.m. Friday and each of the next three days. Free for kids under 12.
