Miguel Tanfelix gets inspiration from 'Top Gun' for role as Steve Armstrong

Miguel Tanfelix said the iconic film "Top Gun" is one of his inspirations for his role asIn Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Monday, the Sparkle actor said Tom Cruise's character in the film, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, is similar to Steve.

In terms of what they do, it's a really close fit: both Maverick and Steve are pilots and ride motorcycles. "'Yung pinaka importanteng way para mas makilala mo 'yung character mo is gawin mo 'yung ginagawa niya," Miguel said.
